Server administration takes resources
Maintenance, upgrades and hardware require time and expertise. A managed cloud solution moves server operations out of your own environment, with clearly agreed responsibilities.

Control your product data. Reduce on-premises administration.
Autodesk Vault in the cloud. Secure access to product data without running your own servers.
Maintain control of drawings, models and revisions – and move your server environment to the cloud. Cadnor helps you choose, establish and manage a solution that meets the needs of engineering, IT and the rest of your business.

Free up time spent on server administration
Product data needs to be available when your team needs it. On-premises operation can make both IT and engineering dependent on servers, networks and procedures that require ongoing attention.
Maintenance, upgrades and hardware require time and expertise. A managed cloud solution moves server operations out of your own environment, with clearly agreed responsibilities.
A copy is not enough if the data cannot be restored when it matters. Procedures for backup, retention and recovery must be agreed as part of the delivery.
Unstable connections and cumbersome access can slow down work outside the office. The network and connection method must be tailored to work locations, file sizes and Vault clients.
Access, updates and responsibilities must be aligned. We clarify security requirements with IT rather than treating the cloud as an automatic guarantee of security.
When departments maintain their own archives, keeping revisions together becomes harder. A shared Vault environment provides a single, controlled data foundation across locations.
More users, larger models and new integrations place different demands on capacity. The right platform makes it easier to plan further development without starting with a new on-premises server.
Vault – with a different operating model
Vault Cloud is Cadnor’s delivery of Autodesk Vault as a managed cloud solution. The Vault server runs on a cloud platform, while users work with Vault and supported CAD tools as part of their usual workflows.
You get a shared environment for product data without running your own on-premises Vault server. The value lies in the combination of controlled information, a tailored operational setup and a partner that considers engineering and IT together.
Vault Cloud is not a separate Autodesk product or a browser-based version of Vault. The Vault edition, clients and licences are selected according to your needs. Operations, backup, security, connectivity and service levels are specified in the agreement.
Two options. Your needs determine the choice.
We assess usage patterns, data volumes, IT requirements and integrations before recommending a platform. Both options can be delivered with Vault Basic or Vault Professional.

From CAD to production
The cloud changes where Vault is hosted—not the need for connected product data. Vault Cloud can be part of the same digital value chain as an on-premises Vault environment.
Engineering develops models, drawings and technical documentation.
Product data is consolidated, revisions are controlled and documentation is released.
Changes, quality and approvals are coordinated across departments.
Controlled items and bills of materials provide the basis for purchasing and planning.
Current documentation follows the product into production.
Vault can also connect directly to ERP. Integrations are separate deliverables: system compatibility, networking, data ownership, licences and transfer rules are defined and tested before use.
