Data foundation and structure
We establish categories, naming conventions, lifecycles and revision rules tailored to how your company actually works. The structure determines how easy it is to find, reuse and trust the information.
Services
We help industrial companies connect engineering, product data and business processes. From the first questions to getting the solution up and running – and beyond.
From needs to solution
We start with your workflows and needs. Cadnor can carry out the work or act as your technical and specialist liaison with other suppliers.
We assess your current situation, needs and ideal future state. We often start by examining non-value-adding work, producing a concise report that identifies the areas we should focus on next.
We then take a deeper look at your workflows. The analysis concludes with a more detailed report and a requirements specification – a shared foundation for the project.
Practical exampleWhere is product data entered more than once? Where do users search for drawings? Which tasks are repeated in Inventor and Vault?
Based on the requirements specification, we help you find the right solution. Together, we identify relevant suppliers, obtain quotations and evaluate the options against your needs.
It could be a new PDM or PLM system, an integration or an add-on that improves the tools you already use. We assess the whole picture, not just individual products.
Practical exampleCadnor Flow for Inventor for iProperties and model inspection, Cadnor Flow for Vault for better visibility, or coolOrange for file generation and integration.
Once the solution and supplier have been selected, the next step is usually installation. Cadnor can carry out the installation or act as the link between you and the supplier performing the work.
We clarify the technical prerequisites and plan the rollout together with your IT lead.

Installation puts the solution in place. Configuration involves the setup and settings that make it right for your workflows. We can carry out the configuration or coordinate with the supplier on your behalf.
A partner with technical and domain expertise helps ensure that structure, rules and access align with how your company actually works.

We connect systems so that information can flow between engineering, PDM, PLM and ERP. Product data, bills of materials, revisions and metadata should be available for downstream use without unnecessary duplicate data entry.
We use solutions from Cadac and coolOrange and adapt integrations where needed. Standard solutions are the starting point; customisation is used where necessary.
Practical exampleCadac Connect and coolOrange powerGate for data flow to ERP, and coolOrange powerPLM for collaboration between Vault and Fusion Manage.
Without proper training for users and superusers, a new digitalisation solution has little value. We tailor training to your requirements specification, tasks and needs.
We offer classroom training and in-house courses. Shorter courses can be combined with side-by-side training, where the instructor participates in projects and day-to-day work.

PDM and PLM
An implementation is more than installing Vault or Fusion Manage. The most important work involves the surrounding structure, data and processes – and that is where the benefits are determined.
We establish categories, naming conventions, lifecycles and revision rules tailored to how your company actually works. The structure determines how easy it is to find, reuse and trust the information.
Existing models, drawings and documents are cleaned up and migrated with the correct properties and relationships. We plan the migration to maintain operations and access throughout.
We set up groups, permissions and approval workflows so that those who need information can access it – without compromising control of drawings and revisions.
When change processes, quality and approvals need to involve more departments, we build on the solution with Fusion Manage. We start with the processes that deliver the greatest benefit and expand step by step.
Integrations
We set up integrations between Vault, Inventor, Fusion Manage and ERP – with clearly defined data ownership and control over what flows where.
We use Cadac Connect, coolOrange powerGate and coolOrange powerPLM as our starting point. Standard solutions offer a shorter path to operation and are easier to maintain than custom development.
Before configuring the solution, we clarify where product data, bills of materials, items and revisions originate, who owns them and where they will be used. This provides the foundation for an integration that can accommodate change.
Status information from ERP back to engineering, and product data onward to production. We assess which direction adds value for you – not everything needs to flow both ways.
Where standard solutions do not meet your needs, we adapt transfer rules, validation and formats. Customisation is used where necessary – not by default.
Configuration
Installation puts the software in place. Configuration makes it right: structure, rules, properties and workflows tailored to your processes.
We configure categories, lifecycle transitions and revision schemes in Vault so that files and items follow the rules your company has defined – automatically.
With Cadnor Flow for Inventor, we set up shared properties, approved values and mandatory fields. With Cadnor Flow for Vault, the setup is managed centrally for the entire team.
With coolOrange powerJobs, we configure automatic generation of PDF, STEP and other formats on release, so that documentation is always up to date.
The configuration is documented so that it can be handed over, reviewed and developed further – including when new people take over responsibility.
A solid foundation
Digitalisation is as much about working methods, people and data quality as it is about software.
Ensure consistent models and drawings with a shared reference guide. We help you document template files, modelling techniques, properties, drawing standards and print settings. These standards can be supported by a shared property configuration in Cadnor Flow for Inventor.
Digital change requires clear goals and leaders who bring their employees on board. We help clarify responsibilities, involve teams and make the change part of day-to-day work.
Are your file structure and product data suited to the way you work today? We help clean up and structure models, drawings, properties and product relationships as a foundation for PDM, PLM and integrations.
We map where data originates, who owns it and where it will be used. We then define how information should flow between CAD, Vault, Fusion Manage, ERP and production – with clear responsibilities and revision control.
From rollout to everyday use
Even the best system in the world is of little use if users do not adopt it. We make the rollout a joint effort between management, superusers and those who use the solution every day.

We provide management with advice and guidance to ensure that goals, priorities and expectations remain clear throughout the digitalisation project.
We enable users to take responsibility for specific areas, test the solution on real tasks and help shape working methods before they are rolled out more widely.
Users receive training and support before, during and after implementation. Superusers gain a solid foundation for helping their colleagues.
We help with the entire solution – whether your question concerns everyday use, installation, software or how the systems work together.
This includes Autodesk solutions, Cadnor Flow, relevant coolOrange and Cadac products, and integrations. Contact us by phone, email, contact form or through the support portal, and we will find the right help.
Go to supportThe digitalisation project does not stop when the solution goes live. By monitoring usage patterns, feedback and how workflows perform, you can identify new areas for improvement.
We help you assess which information is relevant and use it to improve data quality, user experience and workflows. Data collection is agreed with you and tailored to applicable privacy requirements.
Tools that support your workflows
We select products based on the task at hand. Cadnor Flow improves work within Inventor and Vault, while coolOrange and Cadac connect and automate downstream workflows.
