What is Forma Data Management?
Autodesk Forma Data Management is Autodesk's cloud-based solution for document and data management, and the successor to Autodesk Docs. Project documents, drawings and models are stored in a shared environment with version control, review, approval and access management.
The solution makes it easier to collaborate across departments and companies. Everyone works from the same source, through a browser or from their desktop, and the history shows who did what and when.
Forma Data Management does not replace Vault as the PDM system for design data. For many industrial companies, the right answer is a combination: Vault for engineering, Forma Data Management for project collaboration and external sharing. Features and licensing depend on the subscription, and we help determine the right setup for you.
