Our own products for Autodesk users

Cadnor Flow

The best iProperty editor on the market for Inventor – and the toolkit for faster everyday work in CAD and PDM.

Cadnor Flow brings together our own products for Inventor and Vault. For Inventor, it starts with a persistent panel where you can edit iProperties for individual components or hundreds of parts at once – with approved values and mandatory fields built in. But Flow is more than an editor: the same tool inspects the model, automates repetitive tasks with iLogic and standardises how the team works. For Vault, Flow provides a clearer overview of properties, drawings and related files, so you can find the right information in seconds instead of searching.

Why we develop our own products

Fewer clicks. Better data. The same tools.

Inventor and Vault are good platforms, but the standard workflow involves unnecessary manual work: properties are filled in one dialogue at a time, the same value is entered in part after part, and drawings have to be tracked down in folders. This costs hours every week – and leads to poor data quality when routines slip.

Cadnor Flow eliminates that work at its source. Properties are edited directly in the panel, shared values are applied to the entire assembly with one click, repetitive tasks are run with iLogic, and standards are enforced by the tool rather than through checks afterwards. The result is product data you can trust in PDM, PLM and ERP – without users having to work with a new system.

What you get with Cadnor Flow

iProperties in seconds, not minutes

A persistent panel in Inventor replaces the iProperties dialogues. Click a component, edit, done – or update hundreds of parts in a single operation.

Enforced data quality

Dropdown lists with approved values and mandatory fields ensure metadata is right the first time – rather than corrected afterwards.

Less searching in Vault

Properties, drawings and related files are displayed together, so you can find the right revision without browsing through folders and file structures.

Knowledge built into the tool

Shared configurations, templates and iLogic buttons are distributed to the entire team. Good working practices become the standard, rather than knowledge held by individuals.

No new platform to learn

Flow runs inside the Inventor and Vault environments your users already have. It delivers value from day one, without a training project or a change of system.

CAD & Engineering

Cadnor Flow for Inventor

At the heart of Cadnor Flow for Inventor is iProperty editing: a persistent, configurable panel in Inventor replaces repetitive iProperties dialogues – click a component, edit immediately, done. But Flow is more than an editor. Around the panel are tools for live model inspection, automating repetitive tasks with iLogic and standardising how the entire team works. Correct metadata is the foundation for everything that follows in PDM, PLM and ERP – and Flow makes it easy to get it right.

How it all connects

From design to controlled product data

Cadnor Flow does not replace Inventor or Vault. The product family supports work on both sides of the transition from CAD to PDM.

  1. CAD · Autodesk Inventor

Product knowledge becomes models and documentation.

  2. Cadnor Flow

Shared working practices, reuse and less manual work in CAD and PDM.

  3. PDM · Autodesk Vault

Product data and documents gain structure, status and control.

Cadnor Flow for Inventor supports design work. Cadnor Flow for Vault makes information easier to find and work with in PDM.
