Property Edit · the iProperty editor

Edit iProperties in a persistent panel as you design – without opening a new dialog for each file.

How it works

The panel can be docked in Inventor and stays open as you work. Display only the properties your team needs, in your chosen order and in collapsible groups.

Active / Selected lets you choose between the active document and the selected component. Click a component in the assembly and edit it directly without opening the file.

The thumbnail helps you confirm that you have the right component. Apply can be triggered using the keyboard or a click; Flow writes only values that have changed.

Use case

For designers who enter and maintain product data for parts, assemblies and drawings throughout the working day.

Typical benefits

  • Fewer dialogs and less searching for fields
  • Edit components without opening individual files
  • A persistent workspace tailored to your team's properties
