Mandatory fields and write protection

Mandatory fields are highlighted and checked on Apply. Read-only displays information without allowing editing; visibility rules can show fields only when they are relevant.

Strict blocks Apply if rules are violated. Relax with dialog lets users override after a dialog. Always relaxed writes valid, edited values without being blocked by rules.

The rule mode can be set separately for individual components and multi-select in the shared configuration. Mandatory overrides an allowed blank list option.
