Approved values and linked lists
Control which values can be selected, and let one property selection determine the options for the next.

How it works
Create lists of approved text values. With List only, users must select from the list rather than enter their own values.
Linked lists links the value of a standard or custom iProperty to a specific list. For example, Supplier can determine the available Product Types.
Allow blank provides an explicit blank option when permitted. Unique list IDs ensure that links remain intact when a list is renamed.
Use case
When product data needs to follow a common standard, or when valid choices depend on factors such as supplier or product type.
Typical benefits
- More consistent names and classifications
- Fewer invalid combinations
- Less free text to clean up later
