iLogic Rules · custom tool buttons

Make external iLogic rules available as clearly labelled buttons on the Inventor ribbon.

The screenshot shows the Property Edit panel in Inventor. It is an example of the working environment, not the configuration dialog itself.

How it works

Link an external iLogic rule file to a button with its own icon, name and tooltip.

Choose which document environments the button should be available in. Buttons are enabled and disabled according to document type.

Flow provides a shared interface for the rules; the task itself is determined by the iLogic script you link to.

Use case

For teams that already have or are developing iLogic scripts for repetitive design tasks and want to make them easier to use.

Typical benefits

  • Easier access to your team's existing scripts
  • The right rule available in the right document environment
  • Working methods made available as tools
